Shopping Insights Into Flooring using Think with Google

Think with Google allows insights into new trends and popularity of products across the U.S. Google explains it this way: Understand the shifts in consumer behaviors, needs, and beliefs that will help you unlock fresh insights to drive your business.

So I decided to take it for a spin looking at shopping insights into the top flooring categories…

It appears the carpet category still leads in popularity and dominates the flooring industry. I wanted to try some other flooring types but Google doesn’t recognize them in Think with Google which probably indicates the lack of data because the category it too small to measure.  I was surprised to see Houston, TX and Portland, OR in the top five cities for carpet.

Notice the above graph shows 59% desktop and 41% mobile devices.
